Before anyone asks, yes, I have seen the Björk video

As a child, I went to Ray Bjork (no umlaut) Elementary, so I have a particular fondness for the Icelandic Idoru. I am also a big fan of robots, and a bigger fan of kissing robots, so that video resonated strongly with me. My favorite part is when she goes in for the kiss, and instead of starting with a closed mouth like a normal human or porcelain robot would, she opens her mouth reeeeally wide, and just for a second you think she’s gonna unhinge her jaw and just nom on the dude like a sexy porcelain robotic python.

Or is that just me?

Robots are pretty easy for Stable Diffusion to make.

Wombot, the artist bot on WOMBO’s Discord server can make them without breaking a digital sweat, or hardly at all, depending on what style you are using and any artists you are invoking. A prompt to generate a robot in the VFX-v2 style “by Ralph McQuarrie” will be easy. One in Dark Fantasy “by William-Adolphe Bouguereau” will be a little harder.

Similarly, some things are easier for Wombot than others to turn into porcelain.

Ask for a /dream prompt: porcelain bowl, you get a porcelain bowl.

Ask for a /dream prompt: porcelain ocean, you get a porcelain bowl.

Prompt Analysis:

A note on these styles

All of these except realistic-v2 at the bottom are custom styles created by Wombot users. One of the benefits of being a Premium Wombot member is the ability to make your own custom styles. Zhentai-uberhd is the magnum opus of the most popular style creator on Wombo’s Discord server. Z has two types of styles: the NSFW zhentai series, and the slightly less popular SFW Z series. At one point, zhentai-uberhd was the third most popular style for Wombot, losing only to Wombo’s official realistic-v2 and anime-v2 styles. The style’s raison d’etre is to be as realistic as possible, with a focus on uber-realistic naked women. It succeeds at both – it is far more true-to-life than Wombo’s official Realistic-v2 style, and the women it generates are very naked.

The Glowwave series is much less popular, but beloved by its creator (me). It is based on the Glowwave rave culture aesthetic, a midpoint between Synthwave and Vaporwave that features fluorescent colors and Retrofuturistic design. The Glowwave custom style and its -colorful and -subdued variants feature neon cityscapes and women in the style of Patrick Nagel. Their eyes use up a disproportionate amount of the style prompt’s tokens – the eye prompt is “beautiful eyes, hidrocharme lenses, contacts, iris, piercing eyes.”

I will save the story of the bottom two rows until the end of this post. For now, here’s the prompt. As you can see, it had mixed effects, depending on whether I used the “very realistic women” zhentai-uberhd style of the “just plain realistic” realistic-v2 style.
